Heidi Montag Files for Divorce from Spencer Pratt

Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, divorce, divorcing, split, break up, breakup, marriage, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It's officially over for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

The 23-year-old reality star has filed for divorce from her outspoken husband, less than two months after she sought a legal separation, People reports.

"Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt," her lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, tells the mag. "The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce."

In May, Montag moved out of the couple's home in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

"I needed some alone time," she explained at the time to People. "There are so many lies out there about me and I just needed space – even away from my husband."

"I had to get away from the lies my family and supposed friends are saying about me," she added. "It's time to concentrate on myself."

Montag, 23, and Pratt, 26, tied the knot in April 2009 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, Calif.
