HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Heidi Montag's father is concerned about his daughter's safety and is planning an intervention if he doesn't hear from her soon.
"I"m worried for her," Bill Montag tells Star magazine. "I'm afraid for her life."
The reality TV starlet's father is speaking out as rumors swirl that Heidi is locked in a dysfunctional marriage with husband Spencer Pratt. Last week, the couple called police after Heidi's mother, Darlene Egelhoff, showed up unexpectedly at their Los Angeles home.
"Her showing up is completely out of line and psychotic," Montag told TMZ after the family showdown. "I'm getting a restraining order against her."
Bill Montag says he hasn't heard from his daughter since March and won't wait much longer before he makes his own visit to the couple's home.
"If I don't hear from them soon, good or bad, I will take my family and get his family and go there and talk to them," he said. "They can call the police on me too. I want to make sure both of them are OK."
