CLEARWATER, Fla. — After nearly two years of bitter feuding back and forth, Hulk Hogan and Linda Bollea have finally settled their divorce.
The former couple finalized their split at a brief court hearing held Tuesday morning in Clearwater, Fla.
The terms of the divorce agreement were not made public, however previous court papers listed their net worth somewhere between $26 million and $32 million.
"The war is over," Bollea told the Tampa Tribune after the hearing. "I still love him. He's the father of my children. ... We're trying to be a family one more time."
The 55-year-old wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, echoed his wife's sentiments after the settlement, saying he's glad "we can finally function as a family."
"This is the way it should have been 18 months ago," he told the paper. "Everybody started going crazy. Cooler heads prevailed.
"When you've been married to somebody for 23 years and you're crazy in love and you had children with them, it's a situation where you wish for the best, but we have so many tough things going on with business and situations that happened, you know, we just got torn apart."
Bollea filed for divorce in November of 2007, just three months after the couple's teenage son, Nick, was involved in a Florida car crash that critically injured his best friend and landed him in jail.
Bollea said she plans to move California, while Hogan is expected to remain in Florida near the ex-couple's other child, singer and reality star Brooke Hogan.
