HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miranda Kerr has finally confirmed what the world already pretty much assumed – she is expecting her first baby with husband Orlando Bloom.
"Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along," the Victoria's Secret model tells the Spanish edition of Vogue for its September issue.
Kerr, 27, and Bloom, 33, have been subject to pregnancy rumors ever since they secretly tied the knot in July, a month after they confirmed their engagement. The Australian beauty says it's been a challenge keeping the pregnancy under wraps, especially when morning sickness made working difficult.
"I remember on one occasion in the early days [of my pregnancy] when it was still too soon to say anything, and I had a dreadful time at one job," she admits.
So how are their respective families taking the news? Well, the couple is already considered a perfect match in the eyes of Kerr's family.
"We are so happy for her, they are well suited and the family is delighted for them," the model's grandmother recently told Australia's Herald Sun newspaper. "They are good together; they laugh and giggle. When we are all together I watch them and see that he's very attentive to Miranda. He must be a nice boy otherwise Miranda wouldn't be with him.
"All I want is the best for her, she is just lovely from the top of her head to the bottom of her toes."
