SYDNEY, Australia - Nicole Kidman is finally getting the wish she's always wished for.
The Oscar-winning actress has confirmed that she is expecting her first biological child with husband Keith Urban.
Nicole, who has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, has revealed that she is starting a family with her country-singing husband after much speculation.
The "Moulin Rouge!" star's publicist denied the pregnancy reports just last week. However, The New York Post's Page Six ran a cryptic piece about an Oscar-winning star who is pregnant, which may have forced Nicole and Keith to go public with their news.
"Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban confirmed today that they are expecting a baby," said Nicole's publicist, Catherine Olim. "The couple are thrilled."
Olim was only informed of the news this week. When confirming to the press, she said, "I personally didn't know, so I'm excited today, very excited. For years I've seen speculation and for years it's never been right, so I didn't think it was right this time. And then she's just rung this morning."
The star has pulled out of a film commitment due to her impending arrival. Nicole has been filming "Australia" in her homeland.
