Jake Pavelka: I Never Cheated on Vienna

LOS ANGELES — Jake Pavelka is shooting down rumors that he cheated on Vienna Girardi after proposing to her on The Bachelor.

Florida resident Tanya Douglas, 24, claims Pavelka contacted her after shooting wrapped on his season and said he intended to come back to her, according to TMZ.

On Thursday, the commercial pilot denied that there was any "overlap" in his dating life.

"The relationship with [Douglas] was prior to The Bachelor, it simply did not work out," he told Entertainment Tonight. "There was no overlap with that or any other relationship during the show. It is unfortunate that people such as this are trying to financially capitalize on or disparage my incredible relationship with Vienna. I only wish everyone could be as happy for us as we are happy together."

Pavelka, 32, and Girardi, 23, hit the town together Thursday night. The couple dined at The Palm restaurant in West Hollywood following an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
