James Van Der Beek and Wife Heather McComb Separated

Heather McCombs, James Van Der Beek, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — James Van Der Beek and Heather McComb have called time on their marriage.

The couple recently separated after nearly six years of marriage, the actor's rep confirmed to Us Weekly.

"They remain good friends," said Van Der Beek's rep.

A source close to the pair told the mag that the split happened two months ago.

Van Der Beek and McComb, both 32, tied the knot in Malibu, Calif. on July 5, 2003. The couple's wedding day came just months after the end of Van Der Beek's run on his breakout series, "Dawson's Creek."

McComb, whose television credits include "Profiler" and "Party of Five," most recently appeared on Fox's "Prison Break."
