James Van Der Beek, New Girlfriend Expecting a Baby

The former Dawson's Creek star has revealed that he and his girlfriend, Kimberly Brook, are expecting their first baby.

"Yes, it's true - the woman I love and I are expecting our first child... currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed," Van Der Beek wrote Friday on his Twitter page.

The pregnancy announcement comes just weeks after Van Der Beek finalized divorce terms with his soon-to-be ex, actress Heather McComb. Their divorce will be official on June 3.

Van Der Beek and Brook have been dating since last summer.
