HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jamie Foxx might want to stay away from the malls for awhile, or at least avoid any location frequented by tweens.
The 41-year-old comedian is under fire for comments he made over the weekend about teen star Miley Cyrus on his Sirius radio show "The Foxxhole."
The incident began when a caller said the 16-year-old Cyrus had become upset at the Grammys when Radiohead refused to meet her backstage.
"Who is Miley Cyrus?" Foxx asked. "The one with all the gums? She's got to get a gum transplant!"
The "Ray" star didn't stop there. He went on to suggest that Cyrus "make a sex tape and grow up. Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Do like Lindsay Lohan … and get some crack in your pipe … That's what I want."
While Foxx was ranting, Cyrus was racing to the top of the weekend box office. "Hannah Montana: The Movie," the first big-screen adaptation of the hit Disney Channel TV series, soared to the No. 1 spot with $34 million in ticket sales.
