HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer could be inching closer to an engagement as their fairy tale romance continues to heat up the summer.
"Jen continues to be more public in her relationship with John than she has with anybody, ever," a source close to Aniston tells OK! magazine.
The couple has been nearly inseparable since going public with their relationship in April, when cameras captured the pair getting cozy in Miami Beach, where Aniston was filming her upcoming film "Marley & Me."
Mayer, 30, recently shared his happiness with a concert crowd, telling fans, "I'm having the best summer of my life!"
Most attribute that "happiness" to Aniston, 39, who has become a fixture during her beau's ongoing concert tour.
"John has such an amazing crew of musicians and friends with him. Everyone gets along and is drama free and Jen fits right in — perfectly," a friend of Mayer's tells People. "Everyone really loves her."
"They are very happy together, it's working really well and they're only getting closer," added the pal. "His friends think she's great for him."
As for when Mayer might pop the question, a source tells OK! that it could come before Aniston starts promoting her upcoming film "Management," which is due in theaters on Sept. 19.
"Don't be at all surprised to see Jen sporting an engagement ring by then," the source says. These two are serious!"
