Jennifer Aniston to Guest Star on '30 Rock'

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jennifer Aniston is returning to her old NBC stomping grounds.

The 39-year-old actress will guest star on an episode of "30 Rock" this season, the network confirmed on Tuesday.

Aniston will portray a "free-spirited, 'Fatal Attraction'-like stalker" named Claire Harper, who is Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) former Chicago roommate, NBC revealed.

"Jennifer is not only incredibly lovely to have around, she also has what the young people would call 'mad skills.' We're very excited that she's joining us," said Fey, who is also the show's creator and executive producer, in a statement.

Aniston, who rose to fame as Rachel Green on "Friends," has mostly pursued films since the hit NBC series ended it's 10-year run in 2004.

"30 Rock," which begins its third season in October, also featured fellow "Friends" star David Schwimmer in a guest spot last season.
