LOS ANGELES — Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcomed a baby girl in Los Angeles on Tuesday, a rep for the actress confirmed to People.
No other details were immediately available.
The newest addition is the couple's second child. They welcomed their first daughter, 3-year-old Violet, on Dec. 1, 2005.
Following months of rumors, Garner finally confirmed the pregnancy in August at the Baby Einstein 10th anniversary celebration in Los Angeles, albeit by joking about the tabloid frenzy surrounding her baby bump.
"Oh I'm not pregnant," she told Access Hollywood's Tony Potts. "I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It's just — what do they call it? A breakfast pouch? Bunch?"
Garner added that she's always amazed by the media refusing to take a chill pill.
"It always makes me laugh when people say 'Is she?' 'Isn't she?' It's like eventually you will know, so just chill out for a minute," she said.
Garner and Affleck, both 36, started dating after co-starring in 2004's "Daredevil." They married on June 29, 2005 in a surprise ceremony at the Parrot Cay resort on the Turks and Caicos Islands.
