The ruling by a California judge comes after Lopez filed a lawsuit against Noa last week, in which she claims he is shopping around a movie that includes sexual footage of the pair, including steamy scenes taken during their honeymoon.

Lopez contends that the project, titled “How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story,” violates a settlement agreement she reached with Noa in 2005. The 40-year-old star is seeking at least $10 million in damages in the suit.

Noa contends that he never planned to sell the private footage, revealing that his plan was to produce a Borat-style mocumentary about his life as a Cuban immigrant.

“She is destroying my life,” he told New York’s Daily News after the Los Angeles hearing. “This is another proof of her power and money trying to stop me from moving on with my life.”

“I’m not making any money from these videos,” Noa added. “This is about having a closure. It’s my story.”

This is the second time Lopez has sued Noa. In 2006, she sought to prevent him from publishing a book containing personal details about their brief marriage, which lasted only 11 months after tying the knot in 1997. Noa’s planned book alleged that Lopez engaged in multiple affairs, including one with her current husband, singer Marc Anthony. An arbitrator later awarded Lopez $545,000 for breach-of-contract in the case.

Lopez and Anthony married in June 2004 and welcomed twin babies last year.
