HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jenny McCarthy says there are "many things" she loves about her boyfriend Jim Carrey. At the top of the list, however, is the actor's dedication to the former Playmate of the Year and her 5-year-old son Evan, who is autistic.
"He could have any 20-year-old perfect girl with perfect breasts, and he stays," McCarthy tells People magazine. "He has really opened his heart and his life to us. I'll forever be grateful."
The couple first began dating over the holidays in 2005. McCarthy, 35, was previously married to actor-director John Asher, who is Evan's father. She filed for divorce from Asher in August 2005.
The 46-year-old Carrey, meanwhile, has been previously married twice. The movie star has a 19-year-old daughter, Jane, with his first ex-wife, Melissa Womer.
McCarthy told People that she doesn't believe she and Carrey will ever have any children together, stressing that she's "done."
The lovers, who did not make their relationship public until June 2006, also don't have any plans to ever tie the knot.
"There will be no wedding," McCarthy tells People. "Goldie [Hawn] and Kurt [Russell] have it made, and that's what we can strive for."
