HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jerry Seinfeld will be the first guest to appear on Jay Leno's new prime-time show, the network announced Friday.
The 55-year-old Seinfeld will have plenty to talk about when the show debuts on Sept. 14, including the highly-anticipated "Seinfeld" reunion taking place on Larry David's HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
Seinfeld will join previous announced musical guests Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna. The trio will be the first musicians to rock the program's brand new stage as they perform "Run This Town."
Leno ended his 17-year run on the "Tonight Show" in May.
Seinfeld also has a new show in the works with the network. His reality series "The Marriage Ref" is expected to debut early next year.
