HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Justin Timberlake might want to refrain from searching for gossip on his girlfriend, actress Jessica Biel.
On Tuesday, McAfee Inc. revealed that browsing for info on the 27-year-old Biel is more likely to lead to online threats such as spyware and viruses than searches for any other celebrity.
The security technology company said that online users have a one-in-five chance of ending up at a Web site designed to harm their computer when seeking scoop on Biel.
"Cybercriminals are star watchers, too," Jeff Green, senior vice president of McAfee's product development, told the Associated Press. "They latch onto popular celebrities to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise."
Stars ranking just behind Biel were Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady and Jessica Simpson.
McAfee deemed President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama as "safe searches," as they ranked No. 34 and No. 39, respectively.
Biel claimed the top spot from last year's most dangerous celeb, actor Brad Pitt.
