HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The laughter has ended for Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman.
The late night talk-show host and his comedian girlfriend have ended their relationship after five years of dating, according to Vanity Fair.
Each of the star's reps issued a joint statement saying there will be "no further comment" from the former couple.
In January, Silverman appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," where she showed off her video "I'm F***ing Matt Damon," in which she and Damon, a frequent target of Kimmel's jokes, sang a duet about having an affair behind the host's back.
Kimmel soon got revenge with a video of his own titled "I'm F***ing Ben Affleck." In addition to Affleck, the video featured a number of celebrity contributors, with some scenes spoofing 1985's "We Are the World." Among the stars who appeared in the video were Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Cameron Diaz, Robin Williams, Harrison Ford, Dominic Monaghan, Benji and Joel Madden, Lance Bass, Macy Gray, Josh Groban, Huey Lewis, Perry Farrell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Pete Wentz, Meat Loaf, Rebecca Romijn, Christina Applegate and the Jonas Brothers.
Kimmel was previously married, but he divorced in 2002. He and his ex-wife have two children together, son Kevin and daughter Katie.
