HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A judge has issued a warrant for Lindsay Lohan's arrest after the actress failed to show at a mandatory progress review hearing Thursday.
Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said the troubled star is stuck in France after having her passport stolen while attended the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. The explanation was not well received by Judge Marsha Revel, who said that wasn't a "valid excuse."
"If she wanted to be here, she could've been here. She could've come two days early from Cannes," said Revel. "She has a history of not keeping scheduled appointments."
Lohan could be arrested on the spot whenever she returns to the U.S.
Her bail was set at $100,000.
Assuming she makes bail, Lohan will be prohibited from drinking alcohol, be required to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet and must submit to random weekly drug testing.
