HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Justin Bieber made the wrong kind of splash last Sunday at the Maryland State Fair.
A state police spokesperson tells Baltimore's WBAL-TV that the 16-year-old singer was caught tossing water balloons at two troopers before his sold-out show. One of the balloons reportedly hit a trooper's gun belt and burst, while the second failed to pop after striking a trooper on the chest.
Bieber was "horsing around with members of his staff" when the incident took place, the spokesperson said.
The troopers were there monitoring crowd control at the concert, but an incident report was never filed against Bieber, despite what the police described as "inappropriate behavior."
Bieber will be among the stars taking the stage at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
