HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Justin Long could barely hide his excitement over his relationship with Drew Barrymore when the couple appeared together on Monday's "Oprah Winfrey Show."
"She smells good," he joked when Winfrey asked him what he liked most about Barrymore. "She's beautiful, and funny. The most compassionate person I've ever met."
Barrymore kidded that her sweet smell was due to the "hotel shampoo." The 33-year-old star says she's having an "excellent time" with the 29-year-old Long, who she says is "healthy, productive, supportive and full of humor."
On the show, Barrymore revealed that she is donating $1 million to the World Food Programme to help feed children in Africa.
"I have seen with my own eyes what a difference a simple cup of nutritious porridge can make in a child's life," she said. "It helps them learn, stay healthy and sets them on track for a bright future."
"We have a dream...to feed another 10 million hungry school children in Africa by Thanksgiving Day," added the organization's Executive Director, Josette Sheeran, who accepted Barrymore's check on the show.
