Karina Smirnoff and Brad Penny Now Engaged

Karina Smirnoff, Brad Penny, engaged, engagement, wedding, dating, couple, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Karina Smirnoff is preparing to waltz down the aisle!

The Dancing With the Stars pro is now engaged to her boyfriend, baseball star Brad Penny, the happy bride-to-be revealed Saturday night to People.

Penny proposed to Smirnoff on Oct. 4 with a 4.5 carat Asscher Cut diamond engagement ring.

"We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad's family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag," Smirnoff told the mag in Las Vegas, where she attended Tao nightclub's fifth anniversary party.

Smirnoff and Penny, both 32, started dating in October 2009 after meeting through a mutual friend, UFC star Chuck Liddell. The romance began shortly after the Ukranian dancer and fellow DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy called off their engagement.

The two have yet to start planning the wedding.
