Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Split

Kate Winslet, Sam Mendes, split, breakup, divorce, divorcing, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes have split after seven years of marriage, the couple announced Monday.

"Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year," their lawyers said in a statement. "The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children."

Winslet, 34, and Mendes, 44, tied the knot while on vacation in the West Indies in 2003. They have one child together, a 6-year-old son named Joe.

The Oscar-winning actress also has a 9-year-old daughter, Mia, with her first husband Jim Threapleton, whom she divorced in 2001.
