HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Pop star Katy Perry is still hurting from her December breakup with boyfriend Travis McCoy.
During an intimate show at L.A.'s Hotel Cafe Monday night, the 24-year-old musician opened up about her heartbreak.
"It hurts right now," Perry admitted to the crowd.
The "I Kissed a Girl" singer then suggested that the Gym Class Heroes frontman was the one who ended the couple's two-year romance.
"When you breakup with someone you move on," said Perry. "You don't really want to move on ... but you have to because they don't give you any choice. But I'm over it!"
McCoy, 27, recently aired his own feelings about the couple's falling out.
"We fight every night, now that's not kosher," he blogged. "I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer. And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, You act like you're ten."
"My friends always tell me how I'm lucky to possess the best looking girl in the whole U.S.," he continued, "...it seems like just two years back when we were bonded and not pierced, but now I keep itchin' to jet."
