HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kendra Wilkinson is adding another job title to her growing resume.
The model and reality TV star is hard at work writing a new memoir that will be published by Simon Spotlight Entertainment. The book will explore Wilkinson's childhood years in San Diego and her rise to fame at Playboy, including her time working on the hit E! series "Girl's Next Door." It will also include insight into her new reality show, "Kendra," and her life as a newlywed with husband Hank Baskett.
"The memoir will be a humorous, relatable, fish-out-of-water tale that captures the spirit of one of the most beloved Playboy cover models in history," the book's publisher said in a statement.
"Kendra is so genuine and funny that her memoir is sure to be unique, refreshing, and a reflection of the woman so many people have fallen in love with," added Jennifer Bergstrom of Simon Spotlight Entertainment.
Wilkinson, who tied the knot in June and is pregnant with the couple's first baby, said the memoir is another exciting milestone.
"I feel like the luckiest girl in the world," she said. "I have a husband I adore, a baby on the way, and now my memoir is going to be published!"
Wilkinson's memoir is due to hit bookshelves next summer.
