HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lady Gaga is jumping into the perfume business.
The 24-year-old pop star has signed a long-term licensing deal with Coty Inc. to create fragrances under her name, WWD reports.
Lady Gaga's first fragrance is expected to arrive in spring 2012.
Stephen Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing in the Coty Beauty division, called Lady Gaga a "phenomenon" and "a fascinating cultural force" when asked about the beauty deal by WWD.
The "Telephone" singer won a record eight moonmen trophies, including video of the year, to dominate the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held Sunday night in Los Angeles.
