HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lance Armstrong applied the brakes when questions about his blossoming romance with Kate Hudson surfaced during his Tuesday appearance on "The View."
"I know you have to ask that question . . . and it's my right not to answer it," the 36-year-old cycling champion told Barbara Walters.
When pressed further, Armstrong added, "When you're happy about something or proud about something, it's natural and human nature to talk about it."
Fellow "View" host Joy Behar then attempted to proceed down the relationship lane once more, but Armstrong held strong, saying, "Next question."
On Sunday, Armstrong and Hudson, 29, took their respective children out for a Father's Day brunch at Frankie's Spuntino Restaurant in Brooklyn.
The couple, who have been dating for approximately two months, then enjoyed a romantic dinner together on Monday night in New York City.
