HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell will take the place of late actor Heath Ledger in the film "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus."
The trio of stars will play the role of Tony in the fantasy film, which Ledger was filming at the time of his death. It is not yet known how the role will be adjusted for the three actors.
Ledger was found dead in his New York City apartment last month after suffering an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. In 2005, the 28-year-old star was nominated for an Oscar for his role in the film "Brokeback Mountain."
"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" is described as a fantastical morality tale about a traveling theatre company which can control the imagination of others.
Shooting for the Terry Gilliam film had just wrapped in London and was shifting locations to Vancouver, Canada when production was suspended due to the actor's death.
