HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The New Year may be fast approaching, but Leighton Meester isn't sweating a list of resolutions.
"I don't make them, because I don't keep them," the 23-year-old Gossip Girl star tells E! News. "Maybe when I was 8, I said I'd make my bed every day."
It's been a busy 2009 for Meester, who launched her music career to go along with her hit CW series.
"This has been the best year of my life, and I think next year is going to be even better," says Meester, who also reveals that Gossip Girl fans can look forward to one character becoming pregnant soon.
The actress says much has changed since she landed the role of Blair Waldorf, mainly in the way of maturity.
"I've learned a lot about myself," confesses Meester. "I think I've become more of a woman."
Meester will be ringing in 2010 with a performance at the Dusk Club in Atlantic City. She wouldn't reveal if she plans to kiss her boyfriend, Sebastian Stan, at midnight, but even if she does, it'll be a quickie.
"I'm performing at 12:01!" she says.
