HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lindsay Lohan has been slapped with a lawsuit relating to her second DUI arrest last year.
According to The Associated Press, three men have filed a suit claiming they were passengers in July 2007 when Lohan chased after her former assistant in an SUV. The threesome, identified as Ronnie Blake, Jakon Sutter and Dante Nigro, filed their claim last week in Santa Monica, Calif. They are seeking more than $25,000 in damages.
Following her second arrest, Lohan accepted a plea deal and served 84 minutes in jail.
Lohan's attorney, Ed McPherson, said the lawsuit is "absurd," telling AP that the men weren't complaining while they were in the vehicle.
"It just doesn't make sense," he said. "They had ample opportunity to get out of the car."
"It's three guys who want to get a lot of headlines," added McPherson, "and want to make some money."
