HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Concert touring company Live Nation has reached a two-year, multimillion dollar, worldwide touring deal with the Jonas Brothers.
The Los Angeles-based company said the agreement calls for the tween rockers, comprised of three siblings from New Jersey, to play more than 140 theatres and arenas around the world.
"The level of commitment and passion that everyone at Live Nation has shown for our band has been inspiring," said the Jonas Brothers. "Together we are going to bring our show to millions of our fans around the world. We couldn't be more excited about our future together."
"This band creates pandemonium wherever they go," said Bruce Kapp, senior VP of touring for Live Nation. "They sell out dates instantly and always leave their loyal fans wanting more. We couldn't be more thrilled to be partners with them on their journey to superstardom."
In October, Live Nation made headlines when it lured pop star Madonna from her long-term music label Warner Brothers with an estimated $120 million multi-album, touring and merchandising global partnership.
The first wave of tour dates will kick off in Tucson, Arizona on Jan. 31 for the aptly named "Look Me In The Eyes" tour — the Jonas Brothers' new single is titled "When You Look Me In The Eyes."
The announcement comes on the heels of a wildly successful year for the Jonas Brothers, which included their first platinum album.
The band also recently wrapped up a sold-out tour led by fictional pop star "Hanna Montana," played by Miley Cyrus on the hit Disney Channel TV series.
The tour with Cyrus generated $36 million and left a lot of unhappy parents without tickets.
Both Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are signed to Walt Disney's Hollywood Records.
