NEW YORK — The already-dynamic duo of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are adding further to their resumes.
The 21-year-old twins are teaming up to pen a coffee table through Penguin Young Readers Group. The release, titled Influence, will feature artists, fashion designers and others who have inspired the superstar sisters over the past decade.
"Mary-Kate and I have filled Influence with the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know — the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation," Ashley Olsen said in a statement.
"Our collaboration with Penguin on Influence is exciting because we are bringing something unique to the market," added Mary-Kate Olsen. "Ashley and I interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others."
The book will feature influential figures including, Christian Louboutin, Lauren Hutton, Bob Colacello, Terry Richardson, Jack Pierson and Robert Lee Morris.
In addition, it will include exclusive photographs of Mary-Kate and Ashley from world renowned photographer Rankin. There will also be a wide variety of other never-before-seen materials and interviews from Mary-Kate and Ashley's personal collections.
"Ashley and Mary-Kate will share what has influenced them during what has been an astonishing and brilliant rise to icon status at the age of 21," said Ben Schrank, President and Publisher of Razorbill, a division of Penguin Young Readers Group. "Mary-Kate and Ashley have synthesized a set of tastes for an entire generation of young women. This book will continue this tradition."
The two young stars topped last year's Forbes Top Earning Stars Under 21 list with an estimated fortune of $40 million each.
