HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Matt Damon is fulfilling Tina Fey's wish.
The 39-year-old actor will appear on Fey's hit NBC comedy 30 Rock, Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello reports.
The guest role comes after Fey remarked that she'd love to have the Academy Award winner on the show.
"I would do [30 Rock] in a heartbeat if they asked me to come on," Damon told EW in December. "She should call my people — or even better me. Or I could call her. Let’s make this happen."
The details surrounding Damon's appearance are being kept under tight wraps, but sources tell Ausiello that he'll appear near the end of the current season.
Last weekend, Damon was honored at the 24th annual American Cinematheque fundraiser in Beverly Hills. Best pal Ben Affleck was on hand to present him with the award recognizing his career achievements.
