HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Mel Gibson's new squeeze, Oksana Grigorieva, debuted her new single Monday, with the hope of emerging from the shadows of her famous boyfriend.
The aptly titled song, "Say My Name," is the first track off the 39-year-old Grigorieva's forthcoming album, "Beautiful Heartache."
"It is the first and one of the simplest songs on the album, but also one of the most intimate," the Russian-born singer and pianist tells People. "It is naked, intimate, raw emotion, little more than piano and voice as if it is a cry from the soul."
Grigorieva is an artist under her beau's music label, Icon Records.
Last month, Grigorieva revealed that she was pregnant and expecting her first baby with the 43-year-old star. The pregnancy announcement came just six weeks after Gibson's wife, Robyn, filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage.
The couple's baby is due in the fall.
