NEW YORK — Michael Lohan was arrested Monday in New York for allegedly violating an order of protection, TMZ reports.
According to the celebrity gossip site, Lohan was booked after he alleged called his ex-girlfriend, Erin Muller, which violated a restraining order that she obtained against him in March.
Lohan, 49, was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
The showbiz father was also arrested in April after he allegedly threatened to kill himself and Muller after she tried to end their relationship.
"Erin once again made a claim that will be proven wrong," Lohan told Us Weekly of his latest arrest.
"I wish Erin the best and hope she finds whatever it is, she is looking for," he added. "I spent over two years with her and came to love her and truly care for her and all she went through in her years prior to meeting me."
Actress Lindsay Lohan is currently estranged from her father after he accused her of having a drug problem and then released several private family phone calls to the media.
