HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — “Gossip Girl” paved the way with 14 nominations for the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, organizers announced Tuesday.
Among the nods for the hit CW series are best drama and breakout show. In addition, cast members Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick are up for honors in several individual acting categories.

R&B superstar Chris Brown was a close second, earning a total of nine nominations.
“Hanna Montana” star Miley Cyrus, who nabbed four nods of her own, will host the ceremony, which airs Aug. 4 on Fox.
