HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Former troubled baseball star Darryl Strawberry, America's Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne and music stars Cyndi Lauper and Bret Michaels will be among the cast for the third installment of The Celebrity Apprentice, NBC announced Monday.
The other males on the cast will be former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, pro wrestler Goldberg, track star Michael Johnson, comedian Sinbad and celebrity chef Curtis Stone.
On the women's side, the cast features actress Holly Robinson Peete, Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks, pro wrestler Maria Kanellis, actress and comedienne Carol Leifer and Olympic swimming champion Summer Sanders.
"This season of Celebrity Apprentice is going to be fantastic," said host Donald Trump. "The list of celebrities we have this season is outstanding and the show will really resonate with our core viewers and fans. I expect this season of Celebrity Apprentice to be the best one yet."
Once again, the business-savvy celebrity contestants will be working towards raising money for their favorite charities, with the eventual winner earning a $250,000 payday for the organization of their choice. Comedienne Joan Rivers beat out world champion poker player Annie Duke on last season's Celebrity Apprentice.
Returning to the boardroom are Trump's children (and colleagues) Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr., as well as longtime Trump Organization employee and Apprentice advisor George Ross. The boardroom will again feature a "rotating seat," allowing a variety of famous business leaders and industry legends to join Trump in spirited judgment on each task.
The Celebrity Apprentice premieres March 14 at 9 p.m. EST.
