HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nicole Richie has been hospitalized in Los Angeles with a lingering illness.
"Nicole has checked into Ceders Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia," her rep told Us Weekly in a statement. "She is doing well."
Richie, 28, has been ill for some time. Last week, she missed the launch of her House of Harlow jewelry line at Bebe in Los Angeles. Her rep later shot down rumors that the former Simple Life star was suffering from the swine flu.
Richie, who gave birth to her second child in September, recently admitted that her illness was growing old.
"OK cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving," she tweeted on Sunday.
