Nicole Richie Preparing to Give Birth

Nicole Richie, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, newHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nicole Richie is getting close to welcoming her new baby.

The 27-year-old star has reportedly checked into a Los Angeles hospital, where she is preparing to give birth to her second child with boyfriend Joel Madden.

The couple, who have been dating since late 2006, are already proud parents to 19-month-old daughter Harlow.

The Good Charlotte frontman confirmed the latest pregnancy in February when he posted a message on his band's official Web site.

Singer Lionel Richie recently confessed that he hopes his daughter delivers a son this time around.

"Joel is hoping for a boy, but knowing Nicole she's hoping for a little girl again," he said. "They're not telling me what sex the baby is because I'll tell everyone!"
