HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gary Oldman, Odette Yustman and Cam Gigandet are preparing to star in a new supernatural thriller from David Goyer.
The trio are currently in negotations to star in the as-yet-untitled film, which follows a 19-year-old girl who is haunted by a dybbuk, the soul of a dead person barred from heaven, in the form of a young boy who perished in Auschwitz.
The 22-year-old Yustman will star as the haunted girl, with Gigandet playing her lover and Oldman taking on the role of the spiritual specialist who assists the girl.
Yustman is currently starring in J.J. Abrams' film "Cloverfield." She also appears on ABC's "October Road."
Oldman, meanwhile, next appears in Goyer's "Batman" movie "The Dark Knight," while Gigandet appears on screen March 14 in "Never Back Down."
Goyer's thriller, which is being be produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, is slated to begin shooting on March 3 in Chicago.
