HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — When it rains, it pours. Such is the life of Paris Hilton these days.
A Florida judge has ruled against the heiress in a breach-of-contract lawsuit filed against Hilton over her 2006 movie flop Pledge This!
On Thursday, Florida U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno ruled that the 29-year-old starlet violated the terms of her contract when she failed to do interviews with British and Russian media to promote the film, the Associated Press reports.
The lost promotional opportunities were valued at around $160,000, the amount Hilton will likely owe the film's producers, Worldwide Entertainment Group. The investors were initially seeking $8.3 million.
The lawsuit is the latest setback for Hilton, who was arrested last Friday on a felony cocaine possession charge in Las Vegas.
