HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Talk about a bad hair day. Paris Hilton is being sued by a hair-extensions company that claims she breached her contract with them by wearing a competitor's fake locks.
Hairtech International Inc. filed a $35 million lawsuit against Hilton on Wednesday. In addition to allegedly sporting a rival product in 2008, the company claims the heiress missed a launch party for the hair extension line in 2007 because she was in jail at the time.
Hairtech is seeking damages that are reportedly 10 times what Hilton was paid under the contract.
Hilton, 29, has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
