HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Former Party of Five star Jeremy London is opening up about his prescription drug addiction, confessing he hit rock bottom when his marriage and career fell apart.
"There were times I didn't care if I died," the 37-year-old star reveals in the latest issue of People. "I felt like I was losing everything."
London is currently in the midst of a divorce from his wife, actress Melissa Cunningham, whom he married in 2006. The couple has a 3-year-old son named Lyrik that the actor sees twice a week through his visitation rights.
London says it was easy to fall with everything his celebrity status afforded him.
"I was treated like royalty," he says. "It was hard for my brain to accept."
Thankfully, he began to turn his life around last September when he went to rehab to face his drug abuse.
"I'm learning it's much easier to deal with life with a clear head," he says. "There are so many things I wish I could have done differently."
