PHILADELPHIA — Jamie Foxx is the latest star to come face-to-face with an obsessive fan.
A man who attempted to bust his way into Foxx's hotel penthouse in Philadelphia last week returned again on Tuesday, where he was arrested on stalking and other charges, according to The Associated Press.
William Brown, 49, first arrived at the Academy Award-winner's suite on March 20. Posing as Beyoncé's music producer, he allegedly tried to barge his way into the room, but Foxx pushed him away and shut the door before calling security.
He was turned away again a few days later before police were called on his latest visit.
Brown is currently being held in lieu of $250,000 bail. A hearing on the matter has been scheduled for April 7.
Foxx has been in Philadelphia filming the movie "Law Abiding Citizen." He has since wrapped shooting and returned to Los Angeles.
"I'm good now," the 41-year-old actor told Access Hollywood Thursday. "Shout out to Philadelphia and the mayor and everybody else to make sure it's good.
"Sometimes you have to make sure every move you make in life is the right thing, and that you have people there to watch your back."
Foxx won a best actor Oscar in 2004 for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the biopic "Ray."
