HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A rep for Kevin Federline has shot down a Star magazine report that the rapper is once again romancing his former wife Britney Spears.
"Not true," Federline's rep tells Usmagazine.com of the story.
In the latest issue of Star, a source claims that the former couple had such a great time together on Easter that they're now planning to take a trip to Maui "far from the glare of Hollywood to work on their relationship."
"Kevin wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them," the source tells Star. "When he suggested it to her, she told him she was ready to go anytime he was."
The tabloid's cover features a snapshot of the couple together under the headline, "Brit & Kevin's Secret Weekend." However, the photo is actually believed to be from the couple's honeymoon in Fiji.
Spears and Federline married on September 18, 2004 after they began dating earlier in the year. While their divorce was finalized last July, the couple has engaged in a very public custody battle involving their two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
