HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Former "One Tree Hill" actor Matt Barr is on the move.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 25-year-old actor has been cast in the CW's upcoming "Gossip Girl" spinoff.
Barr will play Keith van der Woodsen, a Malibu prince with both money and looks who romances Lily Rhodes, the character who will portrayed by Brittany Snow.
Others who have previously joined the cast include Krysten Ritter and Shiloh Fernandez.
The Los Angeles-set spinoff will focus on Lily van der Woodsen's wild teen years growing up in the 1980s.
It is believed that Barr's character is Lily's future husband and the father of Serena van der Woodsen.
Barr previously portrayed stalker Ian Banks on "One Tree Hill." He has also appeared on such shows as "ER," "Medium," "Commander in Chief," "The O.C." and "CSI: NY," as well as several film roles, including "The House Bunny."
He will next appear on CBS' "Harper's Island."
