HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Music producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and his wife, singer-actress Joy Enriquez, are in "heaven" over their new baby.
The couple welcomed daughter Heavenly Joy Jerkins on Nov. 17 at 9:58 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., they announced Friday to People.
"When we found out we were pregnant, Joy said, 'This is heavenly,' " Jenkins said of naming his new baby, who weighed in at eight pounds. "I said, 'Hey, there's a name ... Heavenly!' "
This is the second child for Jenkins, 32, and Enriquez, 31, who married in 2004 and also have son Rodney David Jr., 18 months.
"We never find out the sex of our babies," Jenkins told the mag. "It helps Joy push them out better because she wants to know what it is so bad!"
