Roger Federer and Mirka Vavrinec Get Married in Switzerland Wedding

Roger Federer, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, Miroslava Mirka Vavrinec, married, weddingBASEL, Switzerland — Roger Federer has tied the knot!

The tennis star announced on his Web site Saturday that he and his longtime girlfriend, Miroslava "Mirka" Vavrinec, were married earlier in the day in an intimate wedding ceremony.

"Earlier today, in my hometown of Basel, surrounded by a small group of close friends and family, Mirka and I got married," wrote the world's No. 2 tennis player. "It was a beautiful spring day and an incredibly joyous occasion."

"Mr. and Mrs. Roger Federer wish all of you a Happy Easter weekend," he ended.

Federer, 27, met the former WTA tennis player at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, in which they both represented Switzerland.

The couple announced last month they are expecting their first child.
