HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Samaire Armstrong says she's been getting "better and better" after entering an outpatient program last October.
"There were some tough times, but I'm in a place where I've got really great people in my life," the 27-year-old actress told People magazine at Monday's "Bra Boys" premiere in West Hollywood. "I'm on a really clean and clear path. I feel really good."
The "Dirty Sexy Money" star continued to work on the ABC series while she was being treated for what she termed "personal issues." She says the difficult period made her appreciate her career even more.
"You see what you have the potential to lose," she said. "And you see how you feel when you focus on making yourself feel better."
The actress says she's been spending most of her time with her family, in addition to many long hours at the gym whipping herself into shape.
"I've had a lot of time to focus on myself .... It's always about staying on the right path," she said.
