HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sandra Bullock and Jesse James have officially ended their nearly five-year marriage.
The ex lovers filed papers under seal last week in Texas to finalize their divorce, TMZ reports.
The Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce back on April 23, saying the marriage had "become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."
The divorce helps clear the way for Bullock to finalize the adoption of her baby son, Louis, as a single mother.
Bullock, 45, and James, 41, saw their marriage fall apart after the Monster Garage star was accused of having multiple affairs.
Last month, James claimed his father's physical and emotional abuse when he was a child led to his infidelity.
"I grew up with a huge amount of shame and fear and abandonment on my shoulders from a very young age and I think, you know, the way my mind rationalized [cheating], 'Well, you know, I might as well do whatever I can to like run her off cause she is going to find out what I am anyway and leave me anyway,' " he told ABC News' Nightline.
