HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sandra Bullock bounced back into the public spotlight in a big way on Wednesday. In addition to disclosing that she has filed for divorce from Jesse James, the actress revealed that she is adopting a 3½-month-old baby boy named Louis Bardo as a single parent.
According to People, Bullock, 45, and James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and brought the New Orleans-born child home in January, two months before their marriage was rocked by the Monster Garage star’s alleged infidelity.
"He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way," Bullock says of her baby boy in the latest issue of the mag. "It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives."
Bullock, who was mainly in seclusion up until Wednesday, told People of her divorce: "I’m sad and I am scared."
